Music has always been my life. Music provide us with the ultimate form of self-expression and give us fulfillment, enrichment, beauty and peace, and represent, quite frankly, all that is best about mankind. I love the responsibility and challenge of taking a great musical composition and bringing it to life. Recreating the inspired thoughts of a composer in as true and honest a way as possible, is my goal. Being a performing artist is a huge responsibility and one that I don’t take lightly. I have began my musical career as a music director in film industry since 1986 with the film "Onnu Muthal Poojyam Vare". The song Raree Rareeram Raro from this film was a hit and thus i been to the array of music directors in Malayalam film industry. In 1989, I scored for the Blockbuster Malayalam movie, Chanakyan, starring Kamal Haasan. Then from some movies like Deepasthambam Mahasharyam, Mazhavillu. After a small gap,i have return with the of songs in the Kalabhavan Mani starrer Vasanthiyum Lakshmiyum Pinne Njaanum. It was glittering period of my career followed. More movies like Karumaadikuttan,Ishtam,Rakshasa Rajavu,Mr.Brahmachari,Nammal,Kootu, Kunjikoonan,Sadananthante Samayam,Meerayude Dukhavum Muthuvinte Swapnavum, Swapnakoodu,War & Love,Kazcha,Raapakal,Thanmathra etc. I have the folk touch in my songs, but also the western touch in my songs from Nammal, Swapnakoodu, Hridayathil Sookshikkaan etc were also acclaimed by music lovers. At present me runs a music college at Thrissur,which is my native.I gave music for the National awarded film "KARUTHAPAKSHIKAL" directed by Kamal in 2006 and produced by Kaladharan K. V. This film was National awarded for the best feature film for family welfare in 2006. I have done music for the Film "AAKASATHOLAM" of Santhosh Sathya (Not released yet) and also for the film "MISS INDIA" (Not released yet) of Kamal. In 2009 I have received the best music director award for Sufi Paranja Katha ..

I have worked with a number of singers like Dr. K J Yesudas, Jayachandran,M G Sreekumar, Venugopal, K S Chitra, Sujatha, Radhika Thilak, etc.. and Lyricists O N V Kuruppu, Yusafali Kecheri, P K Gopi , Kaithapram, etc..
